On the evening of Friday 1st October 2o21, Heritage Lincolnshire hosted an exclusive evening at The Old King’s Head to celebrate the first day of opening for the cafe.
The evening welcomed a variety of guests including, funders for the project so that they could see for themselves what their money had been spent on, the professional team that had been involved in the transformation of the project from our Business and Hospitality consultants, our site foreman to our M&E contractor, Heritage Lincolnshire’s Board of Trustees and local Councillors from Boston Borough Council and East Lindsey.
On arrival guests were served a celebratory drink and homemade canapes whilst enjoying a chance to meet the new Operations team for the site, including Operations Manager Vicky Smith and Head Chef Nathan Johnson. Guests then heard from current CEO Greg Pickup and Business Manager Hannah Thompson before having the opportunity to look around the whole site.
