Herbal Walk in Tattershall
11 June 2022 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join the Fenland Natural Health team, walking through meadow land and along the riverside, identifying and discussing the health benefits of our native flora. As Medical Herbalists Emma, Ghislaine and Lois are passionate about sharing their herbal knowledge, there will be plenty of opportunity for questions.
We start and finish at the large fifteenth century church with its amazing history which you will also find out more about with a fascinating talk on the church whilst enjoying a choice of hot drink and cake at the church café upon our return from our walk.
Tattershall is an interesting historical village which includes Tattershall Castle (owned by the National Trust) and Tattershall College (owned by English Heritage and now managed by Heritage Lincolnshire), fifteenth century remains of a grammar school founded for choristers.
The walk will take approx. 1.5 to 2 hours and cover up to 2 miles with uneven possibly muddy surfaces, so appropriate footwear and clothes suitable for the weather is recommended.
Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes early to be registered so that we can start the walk on time.
All information will be sent upon booking and prior to the event.
Booking is essential as places are limited on each tour.
Tickets can be bought from our shop and if this isn’t the first time you’ve paid more why don’t you become a member and start saving?
