HOD 2024 – A walk and talk around Stamford’s Northfields estate supported by Stamford Local History Society.

North of Broad Street is more than an area of Victorian and Edwardian housing. There was a brickworks, the childhood home of the Acid Bath Murderer, a 1930’s air disaster, a WW2 Area Raid Shelter, pre war and post war council housing, long gone post war pre-fab housing and the Recreation Ground.
