HOD 2024 – Barton Church School 180

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2024

Between April and December 1844, the school on Queen Street was conceived, designed and built, opening as a National School for Boys, Girls and Infants in the New Year. This remarkable achievement is documented in the School’s Minutes Book and is the focus of this special exhibition.
