Grantham’s overflow burial ground from 1812-57 is an evocative space & wildlife haven. Engage with the stories of former residents through their artistic headstones. Family historians will be on hand to help with queries.
There is a range of Swithland and Welsh slate headstones carved by local stonemasons in the early C19th

Entrance is from Manthorpe Road, near the bus stop and opposite the petrol station. Access is by a flight of steps and the burial ground is uneven.
