HOD – British Newspaper Archive Workshop

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2023

Using the on-line British Newspaper Archive learn how to access over 60 million pages of local, regional and national news starting from the early 1700s. Newspapers from Cornwall to the Shetlands, Wales and Ireland.
The British Newspaper Archive is just one of many free on-line resources available at Stamford Library.
Others include: Ancestry, Find My Past and The Times Digital Archive 1785 – 2013. Free research sessions are available every Wednesday morning at 10.30 – supported by the Stamford Local History Society.
