HOD – Creativity in the Cemetery – a walk around Grantham Cemetery

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2023

Explore the cemetery, which was opened in 1857, on this guided walk through the graves of those who contributed to Grantham’s history including the innovative Hornsby family, military and civilian war dead and those who died tragically including a victim of the Grantham Train Crash or 1906 or have unusual monuments. The epitaphs tell their stories.

Walks will start the twin stone chapels close to the entrance. Parking is by the main crematorium. Please note that paths may be uneven.
