HOD – Gainsborough’s Heritage Skills Festival

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2023

Gainsborough’s historic heart will come alive with demonstrations from traditional craftsmen and women carrying out age-old trades and bygone crafts from the past. Learn about traditional building repairs, decorative arts, green wood crafts, leather-work and much more. Demonstrations include traditional blacksmith, wood turning with a pole lathe, pottery, stained glass, sash window repair, lime mortar pointing, historic wall-paper repair and a multitude of decorative crafts. Many of our demonstrators will have hand-made items for sale and the opportunity to book a class.
