HOD – Grave designs at Grantham’s Hidden Graveyard

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2023

Grantham’s overflow burial ground from 1812-57 is an evocative space and wildlife haven. In September there is usually a carpet of pink cyclamen. Engage with the stories of former residents through their artistic slate headstones and memorials. Family historians will be on hand to help with queries.

Entrance from Manthorpe Road near bus stop opposite petrol station. Access is by a flight of steps from Manthorpe Road. The burial ground is uneven.
