HODs – On the Move

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2022

Following rapid invention and innovation with motive power, the population was on the move in trains, trams and buses. Remember the trolley buses! The Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railways expanded accordingly and were instrumental in bringing thousands of visitors to Cleethorpes to experience the delights of the seaside. Some local entrepreneurs also set to with some intriguing designs. Visit the two day exhibition in the Cleethorpes Town Hall and explore the story of the transport creating the Cleethorpes of today.
