HODs – Picture the Past – Lincolnshire’s Landscape of Industry, Design and Innovation

9 September 2022 @ 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

Part of the Lincolnshire HODs Festival 2022

Investigate what we can learn about people and places in Lincolnshire from the past to the present day, by investigating images of many kinds. The Society for Lincolnshire History & Archaeology (SLHA) has access to a rich collection of images of Lincolnshire displaying a wide range of subjects including villages, buildings, people, transport, work, farming, entertainment and many more. The images range in date from the late nineteenth century onwards.
The historic county of Lincolnshire has a wonderful and colourful history, including a wealth of intriguing stories, folklore and legends. Come and enjoy the exhibition and share your knowledge and stories of Lincolnshire. Visitors can also explore Jews’ Court and find out about the history of the building and also the Society which has a very long history. For our younger visitors there will be colouring and activities on offer.
