Spring Herbal Workshop

Join us, and Fenland Natural Health, for this fascinating morning.
Though spring is here we can sometimes still feel a bit depleted after winter, lacking energy and feeling that we still need to recuperate from colds or flu.
This is a lovely time to make herbal products with the plants resurfacing from hibernation.
In this workshop we will learn about traditional remedies that can revitalise us and restore our energy. We will start off by discussing the role and benefits of Western Herbal Medicine, our native herbal plants, and best ways to use them safely, including the most useful medicinal herbs to grow.
Then after some herbal tastings we will roll up our sleeves and make our own traditional herbal remedies to take home and put to good use.
Our remedies will include blending restoring herbal infusions, a spring tonic, a herbal syrup to treat hay fever or rid us of lingering coughs, and a salve to sooth winter depleted skin.
