SUMMARY:Lincolnshire Lore - An Evening Performance of Stories & Song (Lincoln)
DESCRIPTION:Join us by the fireside\, and let us guide you through an evening performance of Lincolnshire folktales and songs. \nLose yourself in the curious lore of the Lincolnshire Landscape. Let us guide you through stories & song… Come to the coast. Wander through the Wolds. Stray into the fenlands. Join us by the fireside for an atmospheric evening of folktales. From infamous beasties like the Black Shuck to witches and ghosts that haunt the fenland. With three performances\, across the length and breadth of Lincolnshire\, each will reflect how the diverse landscape of the county affected local stories specific to the area. No two shows are the same! \nNottingham Trent University and Heritage Lincolnshire are proud to present a new FREE PERFORMANCE led by Time Will Tell Theatre\, which will bring the rich folklore of Lincoln to life with new retellings\, accompanied by Lincolnshire folk songs performed by the up and coming\, fantastical Mossy Christian. \nDue to the sensitive nature of some of the topics in the folk stories being told\, there is an age restriction of 12+ for the evening performances. \nDoors open at 7:00 with the performance starting at 7:30\, there will be a 20 minute interval with refreshments available.
