What an absolute honour for Heritage Lincolnshire to welcome HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to the Wonky House or 40-42 Michaelgate!
We’ve been working hard to bring this building back into use and save it from an extensive death-watch beetle infestation. We were joined by Councillor Josh Wells from City of Lincoln Council as well as our gracious funders The Architectural Heritage Fund and Historic England.
Dr Leah Warriner-Wood from University of Lincoln and one of our main contractors, James from Against the Grain also joined us to celebrate our special visit to mark the end of what has been an extremely rewarding project.
