Trustee Vacancies – Including Chair of Finance and Audit Committee

Location: Lincolnshire (flexibility for remote participation) 

Heritage Lincolnshire, a charity dedicated to safeguarding and enhancing the rich historical tapestry of Lincolnshire, is seeking committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of heritage conservation and engagement in Lincolnshire. 

We are looking for trustees with a range of skills and expertise to support our strategic direction. Specifically, we are seeking a Chair for our newly established Finance and Audit Committee to provide critical oversight of our financial governance. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide strategic input and oversight, guiding Heritage Lincolnshire towards its vision. 
  • Support the charity’s financial sustainability and growth. 
  • Champion inclusivity, diversity, and the wellbeing of our staff and volunteers. 
  • Chair the Finance and Audit Committee (for those applying for this specific role). 

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • Individuals with expertise in areas such as finance, fundraising, legal, HR, or governance. 
  • For the Chair of Finance and Audit Committee: Strong financial oversight and planning skills are essential. 
  • A passion for heritage, community engagement, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. 

This is a voluntary role with a renewable three-year term, renewable. Trustees are expected to attend quarterly Board meetings and contribute to sub-committees or strategic planning.
