Your Donation will help save the Wonky House!
One of our current fundraising appeals is to help save the iconic 40-42 Michaelgate, otherwise affectionately known to the people of Lincoln as the Wonky House.
Towards the start of 2024, work began to safeguard 40-42 Michaelgate to bring them back into use as beautiful holiday lets. Since then, we’ve had a bit of a (steep) uphill battle!
As work progressed, inappropriate cement repairs and unforeseen death-watch beetle damage revealed the timber-frame of the buildings in considerably worse condition than we originally expected. This damage launched our fundraising appeal for additional support to preserve these much-loved buildings within the heart of Lincoln.
