Local Listing Project Volunteer Role
Heritage Lincolnshire is leading the Local Heritage List Campaign in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council having received funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). We are looking for volunteers to get involved in creating Local Heritage Lists to help highlight key heritage assets, which are of special local interest and shape the character of the area in which they are found.
The Local Listing Campaign is looking to identify candidate sites to be nominated for inclusion on Local Lists of Heritage Assets across the historic county of Lincolnshire, including North and Northeast Lincolnshire.
Due to the project only lasting twelve months we have targeted a small number of areas to look at, however there is no restriction and we will support you in looking at an area of your choice.
The role will also involve desk-based research to support the nomination of a heritage asset for Local Listing.
Interested in getting involved? Take a look at the Volunteer Role Description below and contact Felix Mayle, Conservation Project Officer on felix.mayle@heritagelincolnshire.org or locallisting@heritagelincolnshire.org
